And Team NTR and our associate artists
continue to flourish...
Jam Jar dance led an international youth project in Duisburg
this summer with artists from Russia, France, Turkey,
Lithuania and Germany and 100 young people. Inspired by
the experience, Limitless Productions, the Portsmouth youth
group, will now curate LOST HOUR Festival around the city
in Spring 2013 mentored by Jam Jar Dance.
Kipper Tie took Ugly Duckling and Our Island (created in
Singapore) to Edinburgh Festival to great critical reviews.
Periplum are creating ‘The Art of Demonstration’ an outdoor
performance piece for Spring 2013 tour (developing the
work at NTR on the week of Oct 1st). Their IPod tour of the
theatre, Lumen 158, is available to view on our website by
searching for ‘Periplum Tour’
We now offer Arts award and are an Arts Mark centre
and continue to welcome and train technical, marketing,
archiving and front of house volunteers. Contact the Box
office if you would like to join our team!
We head towards the redevelopment of our beautiful vintage
theatre with the new Anthony Minghella Creative Learning
Space and in partnership with University of Portsmouth
hope to provide you with a wonderfully dynamic creative
hub in the heart of the city.
