* Simulation

Online simulations provide a highly realistic method ofassessing individual skill and ability. Their use during theselection process enables hiring managers to evaluateability to perform on the job even more accurately,before an individual is hired. They also give candidates arealistic preview of the job. Scores produced by asimulation enable a hiring manager to determine levelsof proficiency and can be linked to post-hire training.

The simulations available in the Software skills range arebased on Microsoft Office applications. They presentindividuals with work-related situations, and requirethem to take the necessary steps to perform a taskusing available methods and shortcuts.

** Adaptive

Several of the skills tests are ‘adaptive’. This refers to atest administration method that adapts to a candidate'sability level as they proceed through the test. It doesthis by scoring each answer and presenting the nextitem based on the accuracy of their previous response.The key benefits of using adaptive tests include shortertest time, more precise measurement and reduced riskof cheating.

SolutionsWe have solutions specifically designed for roles in Retailand Contact Center environments. We also offer solutionsfor Supervisor and Front Line Manager level assessment,which are applicable across most industry sectors.

By combining screening and selection in these solutions,you can optimise your assessment process. Each solutionincorporates the most predictive test content for each role,applying the most appropriate style of assessment – forexample: simulation, multiple choice and adaptive forcedchoice - in the most efficient way.

The following solutions are available:

Supervisor

Manager

Retail Sales & Service

Contact Center Agent

Contact Center Virtual Scenario

Contact Center Sales Agent

Contact Center Collections Agent

Contact Center Technical Support Agent

All of them involve an element of simulation. ‘ContactCenter Virtual Scenario’ is 100% simulation and there is aseparate ‘Retail Sales and Service’ 100% simulation.Evidence suggests that individuals who perform well in thesimulations are more likely to be higher performingemployees on the job criteria measured.
