IT§ Using the Azure Password Reset Tool Service Desk Tutorial

Purpose: This tutorial will help assist Faculty and Staff enroll in the Azure Password Reset Tool.

Note: You will need an alternate email address or a cellular phone number to receive a varication email or text message from Microsoft.

Step 1 In a web browser go to http://password.govst.edu .

Step 2 When the page loads, select: Microsoft’s Password Reset (A) or Microsoft’s Office Portal (B). If you selected Microsoft’s Password Reset, proceed to Step 6. If you selected Microsoft’s Office Portal, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3 Click Sign In.

Using the Azure Password Reset Tool Service Desk Tutorial Step 7 Select the desired password action radio button (A), I forgot my password will allow you to reset your password. I know my password, but still can’t sign in will allow users to unlock their accounts. Click Next to continue.

Note: The process is the same for forgotten password or unlocking your account. The only difference is when you reset your password, you will create a new one.
