The NETZSCH Service BOP suspends the polished rod and complete rod string while safely isolating the tubing pressure in the well. As a result, stuffing box service, belt replacement, drive removal and stroke length changes are more simple and safe.

Reduced Lifecycle Costs

The maintenance in the stuffi ng box (top mounted) can be made without using a crane truck or a rig.

Enhanced Safety

The Service BOP has the benefi t of not needing someone working under a suspended drive head to install or remove a hinged polished rod clamp.

PC Drive

Eliminates the need to suspend a PC drive on the winch line while holding the polished rod weight on the draw works line.

Minimal Enviromental Impact

The Service BOP allows the maintence of a stuffi ng box or drive head, on a well in production, without gas or liquid leakage.

The system is rated at 25,000 pounds of polished rod weight, based on 1,100 ft-lb torque on clamp bolts. The BOP System seals are rated at 3,000 psi.g driven screws.
