Yogyakarta, or the locals usually call it, is a bustling town of ‘Jogja’, as 500,000 people and the most popular tourist destination in one of Java. Jogja is known as the city of education as well as the city of culture.

Every year, around mid-July, thousands of new students from all at over Indonesia flock into this city, converting the once quiet town to a busy yet dynamic city.

The town is also a center of art and culture that offers some good shopping as well as a wide range of tourist facilities. Jogja is renowned as a center of classical Javanese fine art and culture: batik, ballet, drama, music, poetry, and puppet shows.

The ancient city of Jogja is one of the small numbers of cities that has retained its reputation as a peaceful place . Jogja is, therefore, to dateconsidered as the safest place among major cities in Indonesia.

In the harmony circumstances, you will meet the real Javanese tradition which is far from stressful metropolitan city. It is what some people say;

You only have reached Java once you step on the land of Yogyakarta
