Step 1

This presentation provides an overview of a user with the Originator role creating a Facility Clearance Request.

The user begins by navigating to the NCCS module.

The User clicks the Create dropdown.

The User clicks Facility Clearance Request.

Step 5

NCCS users can search DD Form 254 by the attributes shown and then clicking the Search button.

Applicable results are shown with a link to the DD Form 254.

The User clicks on the Document ID link.

All Fields on the Facility Clearance Request will be mandatory.

If answers to 21 and twenty one A are no, a FCL is not needed.If answers to 21 and 21a are no, a FCL is not needed.

Step 10

If the user selects No in block 21 and Yes in block twentyone A, the user has to submit a compelling need letter to occ.facilities@dss.mil.If the user selects No in block 21 and Yes in block 21a, the user has to submit a compelling need letter to occ.facilities@dss.mil.

Step 11

To submit a FCL, select Yes in block 21.

Step 12

Clicking the Address lookup will display the given CAGE Code's address for use in populating the FCL address fields.

Step 13

The user clicks the Submit button to submit the FCL.

Step 14

The user enters their password and clicks the Sign and Submit button.

Step 15

A success message is displayed when the document was successfully submitted. After submission of and FCL, an email notification will be generated to the Facility Branch Office Reviewer.
