The NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven roll uses exclusive 3M material resulting in a superior product. NCCM Company has strengthened the non-woven roll technology started by 3M more than 20 years ago.

NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls are used in 2-10 pH environments and oil applications. NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls are made in a variety of densities to meet your specific roll processing needs.

In order to create a custom-engineered roll for your specific application, NCCM Company uses our proprietary Mill Roll Structural Analysis Tool (MRSAT).

NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls are a value-add in countless metal sheet processing applications in primary metals and automotive stamping plants.

NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls are designed to replace traditional roll coverings such as rubber, urethane, other non-wovens and various fabrics. NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls have features and properties no other rolls offer.

LONG LIFE:In primary metal processing operations, one NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven roll has demonstrated durablitliy equal to 100 rubber rolls.

INCREASED UPTIME:Every time a line is shut down, production output goes to zero, and worker productivity is lost. The initial cost does not take into consider-ation line shutdowns to repair or replace damaged rolls. With rubber rolls, the line may be shut down up to 100x more than if an NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven roll was used.

REDUCED INVENTORY COST:Going through an average of 100 rubber rolls a year equates to using eight or nine rolls per month. At that usage rate, a large inventory must be kept on hand. This creates extra cost due to surplus inventory and storage space.

LABOR SAVINGS:With traditional rolls, the labor cost to change out rolls can be up to 100x greater than it would be if an NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven roll was used.

OVEN AND AIR KNIFE SAVINGS:When using NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls, the coil is uniformly dried. In many cases, oven, air knife and extra roll use can be reduced or eliminated.

ELECTRIC AND MOTOR SAVINGS:An NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven roll has a coefficient of friction up to 24x greater than that of a rubber roll. With that high coefficient of friction, motors can be eliminated, which reduces electrical consumption and maintenance. The high coefficient of friction also helps steer and properly track the strip.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAVINGS:All the factors mentioned lessen a manufactuer’s carbon footprint. This proves beneficial for the company’s bottom line, corporate reputation and, of course, the environment.

NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls are known by metal processors around the world for their distinctive yellow color and premier performance. They are considered the finest non-woven roll covering for primary metals.

NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls are self-healing due to their porosity. This means they can absorb debris, which reduces the risk of marking on the metal strip surface. Due to this advantage, fewer productivity-reducing repairs are required. If a problem does occur, the rolls can be easily repaired, and the cost and hassle of replacing the roll is avoided.

The porosity of NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls also makes them compressible and better able to conform to variations in surface conditions and thickness. Maintaining consistently tight contact across the metal strip produces uniform wringing, which signifiantly increases fluid control. An increase in fluid control equates to less fluid use, a lower likelihood of water spots and a consistenly higher-quality product.

The uniform porosity of NCCM® Neutral Premier Yellow non-woven rolls ensures the roll maintains tight contact with the metal strip for optimal wringing performance. NCCM® rolls have up to 24x greater coefficient of friction compared to traditional rolls and improve material control by reducing metal coil slippage and hydroplaning.
