2014 ANNUAL REPORT

NITA is the dynamic joinder of a strong, steadfast, loyal community of NITA faculty. We hail from private and government practice, the judiciary, and law schools. We boast an imaginative professional staff. Since 1971, we have expanded our methods, means, and capacity to carry out our mission. We are the profession teaching our own. And we love it. Throughout this 2014 Annual Report you will observe mission-success. The mission extends forward.

• Our programs — both public enrollment offerings and customized programs for special audiences — continue to grow.

• Our publications — bespoke case files, practical and insightful treatises, rules with tools, and titles for enjoyment — are offered in print, and many digitally.

• Our studio71 — offering webcasts live, on-demand learning, and actively integrated learning — is open 24x7.

• Our non-profit financials are solid, understandable, and here for review.

• Our Foundation works with our trustees, faculty and friends who are devoted donors. Thanks to them, we reach broadly to lawyers having careers in public service, and to NITA scholarship recipients.

We are exceptional. We live quality. We grow innovatively. We refine experienced practitioners and develop younger talent. We make a big difference for those who need excellent, efficient, ethical advocates. Every day. We have the phrase “NITA-love.” When you come with us, you will understand it.

KAREN M. LOCKWOOD, ESQ. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
