Sir Syed Ahmad Khan , a great social reformer of his time started a school in 1875 which later became the Mohammadan Anglo Oriental College and finally Aligarh Muslim University in 1920. It is located in the city of Aligarh, UP, India about 130 Km away from Delhi. Modeled on the pattern of University of Cambridge, it is one of the premier Institutions of higher learning. It is a residential central University offering more than 280 courses in various disciplines.
The technical program comprises of invited talks, oral and poster presentations.Abstract are invited in about 200 words in Times New Roman with font size 12 and single spacing for oral and poster presentations. The Department of Chemistry is one of the oldest departments in the University with its long tradition of high quality research and teaching .The foundation of the present building was laid down in 1926. The department offers B.Sc. (Hons) and M. Sc. Programs in Chemistry as well as in industrial chemistry along with M. Phil and Ph. D. Programs in Chemistry. During the last five years, the faculty members of the department have published 360 research papers in national and international journals, 87 research scholars have been awarded Ph. D. degree and 27 research projects have been completed successfully. Currently, the department is funded by DRS-II (SAP), DST (FIST & PURSE) grants.

About the Conference
Organizing Committee
The Department of Chemistry of Aligarh Muslim University, under the DRS-II (SAP), DST-PURSE and FIST program, is going to organize National Conference on Emerging Trends in Chemical Sciences on February 24-25, 2018.The event is intended to provide a common platform for interaction of the researchers and academicians working in different areas of Chemistry. The conference will open up new doors of scientific works to face new challenges in Chemistry for the betterment of life.

Registration Fee
Registration Fee includes kit, Abstract book, CD, Refreshments, Lunches and Dinner during the conference. It does not include accommodation charges. Registration Fee can be paid through cash in the office of Department of Chemistry or through DD in favour of National Conference on Emerging Trends in Chemical Sciences 2018 payable at Aligarh.
