About NARPO
For 100 years, NARPO has provided an important voice for retired police officers across England and Wales.
With a membership base of over 89,000 members, NARPO is one of the largest public sector pensioner organisations in the country. We represent retired police officers of all ranks and police widows and widowers from all forces across England and Wales.
Our approach is threefold, in providing advice and support in Life, Work and Leisure after the Police.
NARPO Membership
NARPOnews is NARPO’s quarterly membership magazine sent directly to all 89,000 members.
The magazine is well-received by our members, with each issue offering latest news, benefits updates as well as advice on a range of issues such as wellbeing and computer know-how. There are also first-hand accounts from our members about their life and experiences after leaving the Police

NARPO quarterly e-newsletter ‘New Horizons’
NARPO’s quarterly e-newsletter ‘New Horizons’ keeps our members up-to-date
with the latest news and policy updates as well as highlighting new member
services and member offers.
‘New Horizons’ is sent to the inboxes of over 33,000 NARPO members, who have
consented to receive email communication. In addition, the e-newsletter
reaches a further 4,800 subscribers who have signed up via our website.
The e-newsletter has a 50% open rate and an average engagement rate of over
14% (clicked a link)
Direct email marketing
NARPO is also able to offer the opportunity to directly reach our entire opt-in
membership base of over 35,000 members via direct email. Please note, we only
issue one direct email per quarter.
