My friend, and pledge brother, Matt Crossman loves World of Warcraft, almost as much as I do,something that hasn’t changed in my social life, but what has changed is there are nally otherpeople for me to play with. back in highschool there were kids I could talk about the game withcause they had picked it up once or twice but i couldn’t ever get into the “deep” conversations ithrive off of. That would be the biggest change in that aspect of my social life.

I thoroughly enjoy practical jokes, to the point where i like to try funny situations on strangers or friends i don’t really know.The only problem there is that this isn’t highschool. Everyone knew what i was doing in highschool and would play along.Now people just think i am being an asshole. They think im doing to make them feel awkward to make my friends laugh, whereas i am really doing to make everyone involved laugh, including the person i am messing with. Hopefully they willtell their friends the story and they will laugh. I am not sure if this is bad for my social life, but it is a fun change.

The biggest change in my social life is that i am now famous. I am now forever known asthe date doctor kid, albeit sometimes people don’t exactly remember me, but if anyoneever brings up BGR i have an immediate story that tops theres. I have been called so manydifferent names because of my fame, but the most common would have to be, “That Date Doctor Kid from BGR!” which is usually followed by lost of high ves and stbumps, sometimes helping me out with the ladies, but not very well, because every guy immediately starts asking, “So how many times has his advice got you laid?” to which theimmediately starts asking, “So how many times has his advice got you laid?” to which thegirl i have been really nice to the enitre night now things I am seducing her. By far thebiggest change in my life since i came to Purdue. Not even all my friends back home know.

I have and always will love acting. If I could go straightto L.A. for an acting job that would pay me a decentsalary when i graduated, i would leave in second. Thebeauty is that i have made so many friends by doingjust the rocky horror picture show, a ssmall show, that itruly wonder how much would change after a real drama.

One of the biggest changes in my social life at Purdue is that everyone i meet, or run into, i dont have a way of evernding them again if i dont ask there full name or get there number. Purdue is so big that i might never see themever again. i have made this mistake once before and it was very silly. I didn’t ask this girl i liked for her number causei thought i would see her every friday, so why ask for it. Then one friday she stopped showing up, or i wasn’t thereto see if she even did. Such a huge change.

I pledge Triangle Fraternity because i saw a group of men who i wanted to be like more then anyi had met previously in my life. There pursuits of chivalry, charisma, scholarship, and humor blewme away, because for my entire life i had surrounded myself with the smart and charismatic peoplewho followed my twin and I’s example of leadership. I had nally met a group of men who neededno leader for small tasks because they could get it done themselves, or they simply knew how to belead in an instance they didn’t understand. I joined Triangle and is one of the single greatest thingsto happen to my life, due its change on my character and life (socially especially.) i have made more to happen to my life, due its change on my character and life (socially especially.) i have made more friends at triangle then i think i would have in the dorms. I made the right decision.

Sleeping... Like a boss.

If i could pinpoint one thingthat is ruining my social lifeit would be how much i loveto sleep. I love it. I take napswhenever i can.. Sometimes ireplace nap time with videogame time but they always game time but they always equal out at the end of theweek, mainly because i fallasleep while playing if i amrealy tired.

Also, because i have been gettingsick lately, i nd that i sleep withmy jackets on quite often. It makesfor a very warm blanket that neverslips too far down or gets too wrapped around me. I love it. Theweirdest thing about naps is whenweirdest thing about naps is whenyou make dates or times to hang,and you sleep through them,people seem to be more willing toforgive if you say you were asleep.Possibly jealous?
