Talking exclusively to Beat It, Naomii tells us all about her rise to fame and what it took to get here.B.I:Tell us all how you got here!N: Well, may i take this moment to thank my trusty friend YouTube! (laughs). That is how i got found my my record company, i almost fainted when they told me they wanted to sogn me up, i thought it was a prank call at fi rst an almost put the phone down. I didnt realise how many major people had seen my vid-eos of me singing, people like Rihanna,Tinie Tempah,Usher and Ne-Yo - It’s madness! Yeah when i was like 15 i made a youtube account and thought i’d post some videos on my own and shockingly they were really popular! i did-nt think i’d get more than 50 views! But here i am and i’m so happy to be here , i’m honestly still in shock that my home made videos got me this far, ah well, it worked for the Beiber!

B.I:So, hows the famous life treating you?N: It still doesn’t seem, real! I mean, yeah, its wonderful, its what i’ve worked for my whole life since i can remember, where i’ve got to now in my life has really made me proud of myself- and my mom (laughs). But to be honest its not all about the fame, its about the music i make and to think i am making so many people out there happy just my listening to the music i create, well - it’s just magical! But i really do appreciate it because it took me a while to get here, i’ll be around for a while.

B.I: I hear you’ve got some big names lined up on your colaborations listN: haha, yeah! it’s been absoloutley amazing, these are people who i never even imagined i would meet let alone colaborate with. Theres Jay-Z,Tinie Tempah and my all time FAVE and thats the beautiful chris brown!! haha, im a huge fan! i almost fainted when i met him!

B.I: Who was yout inspiration to start getting into music?N: Oh theres actually quite a few, i mean, it goes without saying the legend that is Michael Jacksonreally inspired me to become a singer - he was just wonderful! Also people like Beyonce and Usher, i think they are really tal-ented individuals and it is my motivation to be near what they are one day.

B.I: So, tell us about the album, we want de-tails!N: Well, the album has took me just over a yeare to make and i’ve put all my heart and soul into it, its out next week on the 28th and i hope everybody who wishes to support me goes out and grabs a copy to let me know who loves me! Also i want to say a massive thanky-ou to everyone who has supprted me so far and helped me get to where i am today, i couldnt have done it without you guys, i love you!
