Haunted HouseOct. 28-31 at Community Activity Center

Halloween is coming up and Family and MWR is planning a haunt-ed house. This year, MWR would like to make the production a community project while giving others a chance to en-joy the profits. Family Readiness Groups can join the pro-duction, construction and operation of the haunted house. Groups are encouraged to contribute creative talents to construct the rooms and to ‘play a role’ in the pro-duction. FRGs will have an opportunity to raise some funds. Please contact Special Events at (0951) 300 9010, Brad Cline at (0951) 300 8659 or Jack Austin at (0951) 300 8647.

Visit the MWR Community Expo and Job Fair!Fri Sept. 10, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Fest Tent, Bldg. 7000 Parking Lot

Get to know your (new) community and see what USAG Bamberg has to offer: Tradi-tionally more then 40 community services and organizations present themselves at the annual EXPO, including banks, home-based businesses, various MWR programs, Child, Youth and School Services, the commissary and AAFES, health and fitness programs.

If you are looking for a job, you can drop off your resumé at the ACS Employment Readi-ness Program booth. “This is a great oppor-tunity to meet employers face-to-face. This gives job seekers a chance to discuss cur-rent and future jobs postings. Additionally, they can hear about the details of a position that aren’t always available in a vacancy an-nouncement. It is really to their advantage to submit a resume to the potential em-ployer that has exactly what the employer is looking for. This type of networking is invaluable when you seeking employment,” says Thompson.
