MV BLUEFORT

The completely refurbished 142 metre MV Bluefort, is one of the most efficient and versatile Floatel solutions available in today’s marketplace. Featuring 210 single cabins, rapid occupant scalability, exceptional fuel efficiency and high-capacity storage facilities, the Bluefort has the capability to provide extended periods of uninterrupted service to provide premium level accommodations, hotel and catering services at any inshore or offshore location.

The refit, completed in 2016, included the renovation of all cabins, lounge, dining and common areas, along with upgrades to all mechanical, navigational, IT and operating

systems, including enhanced Internet and TV service. Substantial stability upgrades ensure that all safety compliance regulations have been met for operations in the North Atlantic and Baltic Sea regions.

The MV Bluefort is equipped with a CTV boat landing, helicopter pad, large dry-storage and covered deck space for containers, walk-in freezers, a fitness centre, medical treatment and hospital facilities, management offices, meeting rooms and a 200-seat briefing theatre.

Maintenance Services

HelideckHelicopter landing deck large enough for a Sikorsky S61 / Super Puma.

CraneCrane and W2W pedestal foundations engineered and installed on stern.

Cargo StorageThe car deck is configured for 20 x 20' containers (3,000m2) with access via the ramp or from the deck 5 hatch. Containers can be loaded by forklift or I-beam structure which is installed the entire length of the ship.

Food StorageThe vessel has large capacity storage for dry and frozen provisions with elevator access from the car deck to storage decks. 140m2 of dry provision storage and 596 m2 of cold room storage.

Mooring EquipmentThe vessel is equipped with mooring equipment for large cargo transfers at sea.

WorkshopA fully equipped welding, electrical, instrumentation and automation workshop is located on the car deck.

Security OfficeThe security office has full circuit CCTV for the ship and corridors. The vessel also features a muster badging system at all access points.

WaterOnboard installed fresh water makers – deliver up to 200 m3/day.

Sewage & Waste ManagementTwo on board sewage treatment plants, both with a capacity of 25m3 and meet international specifications.

Location and Moorage RequirementsElectricity, black/gray water, and fresh water plans will need to be established. Bridgemans will work to develop an efficient and proper moorage and access plan.

PermitsBridgemans will work with all national, regional and local authorities to meet all operating standards and obtain all necessary permits.

PowerOn board power plant or shore power alternatives also an option.

Dining RoomThe dining room and galley are designed to accommodate up to 200 guests with three meal services per day and a Grab & Go lunch service. New galley equipment and fridges allow for superior quality food preparation.

The newly renovated pub offers a great place to socialize, with comfortable pub style seating and big screen TVs.

Offices and Meeting Rooms

Over 10,000 square feet of offices and meeting spaces, including a 200 person briefing theatre, private offices and large conference rooms.

Catering and Food ServiceAn executive chef and catering manager ensure the highest standards of food service, including a variety of menu choices that change daily, maintaining awareness of dietary restrictions (including food allergies), and providing alternative menu items to meet individual and cultural preferences.

Dry / Wet RoomA dry / wet room is conveniently located for guests to store and dry their work gear and PPE.

HospitalThe hospital is fully equipped with all necessary items to service the requirements of guests and crew, and can be customized to meet the standards set by local regulators. It also has easy access to the Helideck for transport.

Lounge AreasLounge areas are located throughout the ship. These areas include comfortable seating and big screen TVs.

Fitness and Cardio RoomFitness and cardio rooms featuring new, state-of -the art equipment.

Games RoomIn additional to ping pong and air hockey tables located in the Deck 4 lounge, there is a game room featuring 5 big screen TVs, game consoles and comfortable bean bag chairs.

Communication ServicesThe ship is equipped with wireless high-speed internet, IP phones and TVs throughout.The bandwidth will allow for Skype based internet service on individual computers. There is also a computer cafe and satellite phone area for guest use.
