    PROJECTS:

    Development of small size glass cleaning robot:

    The objective of this project is to develop a small size and light weight glass cleaning

    robot. The robot doesnt have its own driving mechanism, but it can move on smooth glass

    surfaces with the help of the string tied between the body and sliding wheel which is placed at

    the top of the glass. Zigbee is used for wireless communication and based upon the command

    given by the user the robot performs its action correspondingly. For cleaning purpose, wipers are

    attached at the bottom of the robot to clean the glass surface and for safety analysis IR obstacle

    detection sensor has been placed in the robot to detect obstacle in the path.

    Electronic Home:

    In this electronic home, an electronic lock security system and the remote controlled

    home appliances were designed. The electronic lock circuit makes use of IC CD4013 which

    consists of flipflops through which security code is generated. Here the correct code opens the

    lock while the wrong code resets the flipflop. On the other hand, the remote control circuit whichwas designed turn on/off home appliances (lamp, fan, radio, TV, etc) from one place. These

    appliances are controlled with the help of IR receiver module (TSOP1738) in the circuit which

    receives signal from 38kHz infrared (IR) rays generated by the remote control. The appliances

    can be controlled within a limited range of 10metres.
