This song appears on the album Fortune the fifth song. The plans were than it initially featured the rapper meek mill however Chris brown decided to take this song on his own, as it was personal to him.

The song is based on Chris Brown regretting his bad decisions from the past and he is telling his partner. His conveying himself as innocent and that he shouldn’t be judged. Also he tells her that there will be good times and bad but if their relationship is based on love then it is beautiful for the both of them.

The video consists of mainly long shots and close ups of Chris Brown, this allows the audience to identify with him, there are also many close ups of Chris brown to show his mood to link the atmosphere with the song. This particular mid-shot shows the link between his lyrics and the visuals, ‘Please don’t judge me’. He doesn’t seem too happy with what he’s done which is shown by his facial expression.

A Low angle shot is used to show that Chris brown is contemplating about his past, and really shows the audience his emotions of how he regrets them. Usually low angle shots are used to empower artist however in this case that theory is being challenged and it shows how vulnerable he is.

The music video is set in a house, countryside road, military grounds and the inside of a rocket. These places all link with is lyrics, the house shows his memories, the countryside shows how he regrets his past, the military grounds convey his pain, and the rocket shows how he’d go on a suicide mission for his country.

We understand that the costumes that Chris brown wears are very simple, a white t-shirt, Navy shirt, black t-shirt, this shows us that the music video isn’t concentrated on his looks, but emphasises the message of the song to its audience. White shows purity and innocence which links with his song of how he wants to portray himself.

There is a lot of lighting in this song to show Chris browns facial expressions, to keep the atmosphere as somewhat up and high. Though there are places of darkness, which are in the house, and the spaceship. This shows the sadness of his past and how he is in a lost world without his ‘girlfriend’ and wants everything to go back together for him, but he’s feeling broken and doesn’t know

what he’s doing, so this shows his insanity when he goes into a spaceship to suicide.

We also understand that the song has a clear storyline narrative, which is shown by all the lighting, facial expressions, his journey, the slow paced editing. Chris brown isn’t dancing as he usually wood in most of his songs and showing off wearing all these fancy clothing. Instead he is wearing simple clothes and telling his audience of his past and how he wants to move on and be happy with his future

There are non-diegetic sounds, slow tempo drumbeats this goes with the rhythm of the sounds and how the song is moving on. You can hear working in the background in the military grounds, and here the spaceship taking off. The diegetic sound within are the actual lyrics, Chris brown at the very end replies to his girlfriend ‘I'm doing a service for my country and my planet. If that means saving the people I love and I care about, then that's what I'll do’. Which really shows how he’s willing to go to such extents to show his love and passion for his people and the world around him. He wants to be remembered as something amazing rather than remembered for his horrible past that he regrets.
