Project Description 4-years of program funds for regional coordination of bicycle and pedestrian planning activities to beawarded through competitive call-for-projects within 6-months of TIP adoption. Projects must advanceregional initiatives to improve the availability, safety, and convenience of active forms of transportation.Funding could be used to implement a stand-alone project or supplement an existing project to ensure theinclusion of non-motorized modes (e.g., adding sidewalks to a road widening project).

Project Description 4-years of program funds to be awarded through competitive call-for-projects within 6-months of TIPadoption. Projects must meet federal STP requirements and also improve the operations of the regionalroadway or transit systems without adding lane-mile capacity for motorized or non-motorized vehicles.The program is intended to fund low-cost solutions aimed at improving traffic flow and safety alongcongested corridors and at intersection bottlenecks. Projects must incorporate some degree of ITS toinclude signage/wayfinding, traffic control/ signalization, traveler information, or information management.
