She has done her M.A. with English Literature, Ph.D. in Social Anthropology, (Scholarship from social welfware ministry Government of India.)

L.L.B., B.Ed. English and Hindi Teaching Method

She has also completed her Diploma in Journalism and a Diploma in Commerce with first class first.

Till recently she was working as Director Incharge

of News in Doordarshan Kendra, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ahmedabad.

She has worked as Assistant. Editor in Yojna,

Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for 23 years.

She has worked as Transmission Executive, AIR

Ahmedabad looking after independently Sanskrit, Women,

Children and Youth section for 6 years.

She has worked as an announcer on All India Radio at Rajkot and Ahmedabad for about 5 years.

She has also worked as a High School Teacher for 3 years at Little Flower English Medium School, Ahmedabad.

Worked as a Media Officer in Asiad’82, Non Aligned Meet-83, CHOGUM-84, International Film Festival in 1982 and 1984 and Bhartiya Filmotsav in 1990.

She was nominated for Feature Writing Workshop at IIMC, New Delhi in 1998.

She is a visiting faculty of Journalism in different journalism courses.

Basically She is a Researcher in Developmental Activities and Social Anthropology and Communication.

She is being associated with World Gujarat Samaj Institute and worked as Jt. General Secretary of Vishwa Gujarati Samaj, helping Gujaratis world over with Literature, Culture and Development for about 14 years.

She is been invited to deliver lectures on “ Personality Development” Literature, Art, Developmental issues and social issues at different colleges and institutes.

She is helping in Organizing World Conference of Gujaratis under the auspices of “ Vishwa Gujarai Samaj” with Seminar Sessions on different subjects thrice.

She is an approved Radio, T.V. and ISRO panel artist.

She has conducted many programmes on Stage, Radio and T.V. as a Master of Ceremony.
