All About Me My background

I grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. For K-12 I attended Garner Elementary, Summit

Junior High, Boyd County High School, and Russell High School.

During college I attended Ashland Community College, University of Kentucky, and Eastern Kentucky University.

All About Me My first professional career was as a

Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I worked at Lexmark International Inc. for

over 12 years. I graduated from EKU with a Master’s

of Art in Teaching. This is my 2nd year teaching 6th grade

math at ACMS.

Why I wanted to be a middle school teacher

Middle school students are my favorite age to work with

I want to make a difference in my students’ lives.

I believe in my students and that they can all be successful.

Classroom Community Our classroom is a community. In our

community, we have rules to help us get along with each other.

Our class rules are: Be respectful and responsible. Be organized and follow directions. Be on time. Be prepared.

quiz Tests/Projects/Quizzes – 70% Homework/Classwork – 30%
