Transitions Monitor and assist in application process in situations

where students are planning to apply to private schools. (Please note that teachers and

guidance need sufficient time to complete recommendations and applications).

Binders should be organized with 5 labeled sections: Homework, Classwork, Tests/Quizzes, MCAS, and Vocabulary.

Students should come to class each day prepared with their homework and 2 pencils.

Students should know their multiplication facts from 1-12 VERY WELL.

No late work will be accepted, unless accompanied by a note.

Buckle Down book will be given in early October, and will be used for MCAS review.

Students will be practicing MCAS-type problems on a regular basis.

MCAS review will be offered starting in February-after school.

*All questions should be attempted, even if incorrect. Effort is everything!
