"Rise and shine beautiful delegates!!

It’s a beautiful Wednesday morning,

sunny and 15°, and we have a huge

schedule of things to do today. We’re

assuming that if you’re reading this,

you’re probably up, have had some O-J

and continental breakfast in you, and

are ready for our Opening Presentation

at 9:00 in the Bronfman Building. If

you’re reading this and that time has

long come and gone, we have a major

problem (Step 1: Call your Ambassa-

dor!)

Big shout-out to everyone who came

out last night to Le Cocktail for Karao-

ke! Unbelievable performances by Sam,

who brought the entire bar to their

knees, and Ganesh, who picked the au-

dience right back up for a rousing ren-

dition of “Burn”. Props as well to Na-

varra for leading us through the Span-

ish-themed songs and to all the advi-

sors who were out and danced along-

side the participants. Also, a warm wel-

come to USC who joined our ranks to-

night at the bar!! A truly amazing

evening and just one of many to come!

So, at 9:00 am, at the MMICC Opening

Presentation, we’ll be receiving a mes-

sage from Dean Todd of the Manage-

ment Faculty here at Desautels (great

guy), announcing the winners of the

hype videos, and finally breaking up

teams for our BIG ADVENTURE!! Af-

ter we’ve split teams up (read: chance

to make new friends!) we’re grabbing

Red Bull and heading into the city!

This adventure will push you physical-

ly and mentally (sort of), and will be an

awesome chance for you to get better

acquainted with all of the cool stuff

that Montreal has to offer. Things are

going to be warm, so dress appropriate-

ly; expect 15°-20° with sunshine. The

Scavenger Hunt will end around 15:00,

at which time you can return to your

rooms at the Marriot for a hot bath or

whatever else floats your boat.

However, we’ll need you to be ready to

roll again at 17:00, when we head over

to Pointe-A-Callière Museum for our

Opening Ceremonies. Have those suits

and skirts pressed and ready to go, be-

cause this event will be business for-

mal. You’ll also be having your team

pictures taken here!!

Get ready for an amazing day!!! You

guys are amazing participants and

we’re so lucky to be surrounded by such

smart and wonderful people!!!
