WOMEN'S E CLOTHING/TOY DRIVE PROJECT

As a Love Offering Project, Women's E members will partner with Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex to pro-vide clothing and toys for families in our community. Because of the impact of COVID-19, the organization's supplies are at an all-time low while the need for these items are at an all-time high. To help resolve this issue, Women's E members will host a Clothing Drive with all proceeds benefiting the organization.

Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex provided this list of "immediate needs." Please be sure items are gently-worn, clean, and something you would wear. It would be helpful if larger items are on hangers, i.e. coats, suits, dresses, etc.

When You May Ask? Virtually – Monday, December 21st from 7p – 8:30p Why You Ask? Book clubs can create a fun, safe, and engaging experience for children. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our children to discuss Christian principles that are revealed in a story about simple everyday encounters with their peers and society at large. What Book You Ask? This month we will read “The Jacket”, by Andrew Clements; Fiction, 89 pages Book Snippet: “When Phil spies Daniel, an African-American schoolmate, wearing a jacket identical to one that his mother bought him in Italy, a problem arises…” What Happens Next You Ask? This is a pilot program that we pray will interest our children so much that they will be eager to participate and enjoy reading even more while having lots of fun and fellowship. ATTENTION HEALTHCARE WORKERS!!!

We are and have been praying for you and want to honor you for your hard work and dedication during this very long covid-19 season. Cornerstone AWANA can do virtually anything! Including hosting AWANA 20-21 online at

At Cornerstone AWANA, we are fully committed to

making your 3/4 year old – 6th grader want to memorize scripture and learn what the Bible says

about our Lord. Despite this year’s roadblocks, “the AWANA show will go on”. We will meet in online

formats for the 20-21 term UNTIL it’s safe to return to in-person meetings. If your child is ready to get back at it and earn their book awards, we cannot

wait to see them get started!

Join us for our 2021 - 21 Days of Fasting | Prayer | Bible Reading | Devotionals

January 4 - 24. We will use the Daniel Fast - only eating vegetables and fruit. No sweets and no bread. The fast will break on January 25 (the day you can eat whatever you want). More information on how to fast and why we fast will soon be available.

January 1, 2021 we will start our Bible reading plan. We will read through the Bible in 2 years, reading passages Monday though Friday. Look out for more details to be available regard-ing our week of corporate Bible reading...we will gather on zoom and read the Bible for one hour each night for one week.

Next week you can sign up for the 24 hour Prayer Chain via Zoom this year. The pray-er chain will take place January 8 at 6pm through January 9 at 6pm. We will have hours of praise and worship built in throughout the 24-hour pe-riod. Sign up to pray with us for one or more hours. More info available soon. We will have a prayer drive thru Saturday, January 23 at 9am. We will need volunteers to pray with people and serve hot

chocolate/coffee/water. Sign ups begin next week. Join us for daily devotionals beginning January 4. More details to follow.
