Old Time Coffee Inc. McKee’s Rocks, PA 1980 – 2015
1980: Company opened - Worked part-time.
1981: Advanced to Full Time as a Routs Sales Driver and Installation Tech
1982: Advanced to Route Sales Driver / Supervisor
1985: Promoted to primary sales and customer service position. Promoted quickly to manage two route sales drivers and one service employee
1990: Promoted to Sales Manager and hired five additional commission sales employees. Managed these employees, three route sales drivers, and two service technicians. Sales grew to one million in sales
1992: Promoted to General Manager, agreement made with companies owners to purchase business if able to grow the business over two years
1994: Achieved goal of business growth, purchased Old Time Coffee Inc.
1994 – May 2015: Old Time Coffee expanded and achieved sales numbers around $4,000,000 a year. As president, with three department managers, the company employed 26 employees.
May 8th 2015: Retired and sold the business.
Old Time General Store Greater Pittsburgh Area
1994 -1997
Partner / Operator/ 33% owner of four C-Store / Deli’s located in the Greater Pittsburgh area in office buildings. A full time manager and three part time assistants operated each location. Sold the stores in 1997.

Managed 12 employees including employees in sales, route sales, business sales and customer service

Service Management:
Managed a service department of four service staff and a service supervisor
Oversaw/Managed the West Penn Beverage division of Old Time Coffee Inc. This was a service company that would take care of the needs of over 2,300 Old Time Coffee accounts and service/repair needs of 3 other coffee companies in Western PA and over 150 contracted restaurants and C-stores. We averaged 40 service calls a day and offered 7 days-a-week emergency services
Fleet Management / Routing:
Responsible for overseeing a fleet of 8 -14 foot step vans, 4 - service vans, 2 -14 foot box trucks, and 2 company cars. Scheduled/ managed the repairs and service of this fleet and the purchasing of new vehicles over a 30-year period
Coordinated the service accounts of over 2,300 business locations. These accounts were serviced every 2 weeks or 4 weeks based on the accounts volume. Managed the delivery schedules of over 80 pre-routed routes on a weekly base
Purchasing:
Purchasing of all equipment, parts and vehicles needed to operative Old Time Coffee

Trained management to assist me, my office manager took over the purchasing of the 600 items we sold on a daily bases. My service supervisor took over the purchasing of all parts and warehouse equipment needed to operate the business. My purchasing efforts moved into green coffee futures, insurance, building maintenance and the fleet
IT:
Advanced the sales people from using remote laptops/ logging into the server via cellular connections from their car. This was back in the early 90s when this technology was just starting to become available. I then moved the company into a Unix Server and converted the company staff into the Mac Apple world. We coordinated all scheduling and communication through various devices including cellular phones and tablets, including assessing the service via remote log to complete work without being in the office. All company vehicles were tracked via Verizon Field Force Management system
Management:
As President I managed the Office Manager, Service, Manager and the Route Manager. In addition a team of account managers
