Welcome Cattle Enthusiasts:

It’s been a banner year for the “Continent”. We had the supreme Female at the Kansas State Fair, the 3rd overall Female as well as 7 Breed Champions or Reserves. At the longest running and largest State Junior Show “Kansas Junior Livestock Show” we were proud and humbled to have 4 of the 5 Top Steer Champions including Grand and Reserve Grand Steers. We had 10 total Breed Champions and Reserves. Many of those cattle were out of Females that sold in this very sale. To top it off at press time we have two Reigning National Champion Animals in two different Breeds! (Pictured on the Covers). How many times have you heard it is the home that counts! We couldn’t agree more. We would like to take the time to thank the incredible families that have had the confidence in our program and the unparalleled work ethic to get the job done! Our Hat is Off to You! We truly think the best testament for our breeding program is the unbelievable people that have stood by us for years. The cattle business is really good right now and for years through good and bad these guys and gals have offered advice, help design the animals, stepped up at sale and show time, inspired us to make them better and have literally fed and bred them to success! You know who you are and we couldn’t be prouder to call you friends. To diversify our marketing program and to serve different breeding niches and environments, we have developed a multi breed operation. Our cattle are raised in a competitive environment that can only be described as Capitalism at its best. Call it what you will but Survival of the Fittest is the term that comes to mind. They need to make the top cut because it makes no sense to waste time on the average ones. Because of our philosophy these cattle perform as well or even better in a less harsh, better managed environment. It is because of this management scheme that our females cross so well with today’s popular sires and it is because of our genetics that many of these sires work so well. The cattle may not be the total “end all” “be all” but it has been proven that they hold some of the most valuable pieces to build cow herds and Champions of any available anywhere. To prove this we have had as high as an 80% return customer rate and consistently rate at the 70 percentile. This year was our 30th Annual Steer Sale this year and was our best sale yet. A lot of dynamics got us to this point and the accumulation of these dynamics are totally represented in this breeding stock offering. We appreciate your help and business more than you know.
