Mojo works with your iPhone, Android or Windows phone or DAP and is also compatible with your Mac, PC, or Linux computer. There are three digital inputs - USB, Coaxial, and Optical. Charge time is just 4 hours to provide up to 10 hours use. You can use any pair of headphones with Mojo, from 4Ω to 800Ω. With two 3.5mm analogue outputs, you and a friend can listen too! Compatible with all files from 32kHz to 768kHz and even DSD 512. Its case is precision machined from a single solid block of aluminium, entirely designed and manufactured in Great Britain.

Naim’s Mu-so scarcely needs introduction. To some, this multi award winning device is a wireless speaker (bluetooth or Airplay from the smartphone) and to others a network player (internet radio, on-line music streaming) via wired or wireless ethernet from a local storage device. With digital and analogue inputs, it can even be a very fine TV sound bar. It’s even an alarm clock. The recent integration of Tidal and Spotify mean that there is no need to already have a database of music to enjoy high quality replay. Just to tempt you further, we are offering one of the three available coloured grilles free of charge. Charcoal comes as standard and a grille in vibrant red, deep blue or burnt orange is an option that normally adds £69 to the price.

At the turn of 2015, Naim did the unthinkable and launched a range of high end cables. Called Super Lumina, these were developed in concert with the positively stratospheric Statement amplification. It turned out that they are very effective with the more affordable electronics too. And, my word, are they good! Suggesting these as a stocking filler is just a wee bit tongue in cheek but, if you have yet to investigate these fine wires, you might just be pleased that we’ve brought them to your attention. It turns out that the speaker cables in particular are very effective with quite a few other brands’ electronics too. With interconnects of virtually all configurations now freely available, it has become hip and happening to be able to claim that your full Naim rig is using the ‘full loom’. These days, a surprising number of people are buying records yet have no means of playing them. Help them out and buy them a turntable. Better still, one made in the UK by real live people. Rega’s excellent and affordable RP1 turntable is an superb starting point for proper high quality analogue replay and their entry phono stage, the Fono Mini (don’t judge) has the bonus of a USB output so that you can copy your records to a computer and make them sound rubbish again! I jest, this is way better than the excruciatingly cheap USB turntables out there that quite probably ruin the records into the bargain. Priced at £229, the RP1 includes a decent moving magnet cartridge, the Rega Carbon, and can be upgraded to Performance Pack level if the bug bites. In fact if the bug really gets hold of you, their more ‘serious’ decks hold their heads high in very illustrious company. The entire range of Rega products represent seriously good value for money, so the Rega enthusiast can have a DAC, various amplifiers, CD players, turntables and loudspeakers to choose from.
