color palette

Pop of ColorAdd contrasting colors and textures in your bouquet for a unique and personal touch

The “skin tones” palette (also known as nude, blush, sand and pale) is one of the most popular floral trends this

Spring. Hot off of New York Fashion Week’s runway, this versatile palette is a timeless and classic look that will

complement a wide range of secondary colors.

Classic Chic

Timeless beauty, you won’t look back on these pictures and

think trendy…instead you will think…so classic, Audrey

Hepburn classy. Lots of hydrangeas and different size roses

can bring this together beautifully. Add some graceful and

fragrant freesia or old fashioned snapdragons, maybe even a

little variegated ivy. Small touches of green can go a long

way to highlight your bouquet. Even adding a collar around

the bottom of your beautiful flowers with hosta or magnolia

leaves. How much more Southern could you get? Actually, a

little bit more by adding delicate Queen Anne’s Lace

interspersed gracefully among your blossoms. Add some

pearls and Audrey would be totally represented! As would

Coco Chanel. Pearls can go into your flowers as pins, or loops

or wrapped around your handle. Go vintage with a cascade

bouquet, they are trending now!

Blushing Bride

Think pale shades of pastels very light pinks, peaches,

greens. The is a very soft and feminine palette with soft

blossomy flowers and lots of petals. Think , lisianthus,

full open roses, ranunculus and hydrangeas. Add some

feathery astillbe and soft light green lambs ear or dusty

miller. Go timeless with lace on your bouquet handle or a

vintage handkerchief.

Pop of Color

Adding a pop of color can set your overall theme and keep it

consistent. It may be the color of your bridesmaids dresses or

just your favorite color. What better way to show off your

personal style. Many times the bride will chose that pop of

color as her entire bouquet, then her bridesmaids are mostly

neutral, whites and beige, with a pop of that special color.

Last year purple was popular, this year red is making a

comeback along with fuchsia. It really doesn’t matter what

the trendy color is…this pop of color is your favorite! This

color palette goes with any venue or style. Roses come in

every color of the rainbow, including one with all the colors

of the rainbow in one rose… really. Mini Gerbera daisy are

great as well as chrysanthemums and stock. Of course some

other flowers that are only available in their season are

peonies, tulips, lilac and anemones are equally stunning.
