Article abstract
Feminist Methodology and Anthropology : Towards a Fruitful Alliance
After a brief presentation of the epistemological and ethical principlesunderlying feminist research and the resulting strategy for the pursuitof concrete research projects, the author examines the affinities andthe reciprocal contributions which exist between anthropology andfeminist methodology and then points out the profound contradictionswhich in reality, in her analysis, make problematical the developmentof feminist research in anthropology. She proceeds to identify some ofthe research paths which feminist anthropologists should follow in thenear future.
