Educaon

The Educaon Porolio is central to the work of Mercy

Mission and key to the achievement of our vision. We believe

that educaon in our communies is important in order for

Muslims to improve themselves as individuals and make a

posive contribuon to society.

AlKauthar Instute is consequently the jewel in the crown

of Mercy Mission. Founded on enriching lives through

knowledge, AlKauthar has galvanised leading scholars and

students of knowledge to teach the fundamentals of thisreligion to Muslims in a language, style and manner they

respect and understand. Aqeedah, Fiqh and Usool are now

the food and drink of the students of AlKauthar, as they

quench their thirst for knowledge while increasing their

hunger for paradise...

In this porolio, our aim is to launch iniaves which help

tackle issues affecng the Muslim community as well as those

which build and strengthen es between Muslims and

non-Muslims.

MyNeighbours seeks to take Islam from the Muslims to

their non-Muslim neighbours, by encouraging engagement

between the two.

MyCommunity seeks to work with the UKs largest cancer

charity; McMillan Cancer Support and help all those suffering

with this disease.

The best of you is the best to his family and I am the best

With these words of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon

him), we are working to address the needs of Muslim families

from all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, with

parcular focus on issues pertaining to women, raising young

children and establishing/maintaining family harmony.

Part of our work in this area is seeking to respond to the

needs of Muslim children in foster care, through the

Dar Al Aasiya Program, and the wellbeing needs of Muslim

women during pregnancy through our partnership with

Haamla; a service dedicated to providing support to

vulnerable mothers.

Islam teaches us that we have a duty to acvely look aer

our health and wellbeing, and this is a duty Mercy Mission

has built this porolio upon. We aim to promote the virtues

of healthy living through educaon and encouraging Muslims

to make simple lifestyle changes upon the example of the

Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

Eat of what is lawful and wholesome on the earth.

Our agship program; The Ramadan Health Campaign,

ulises the blessed month to engage various secons of the

community (such as congregaons in masaajid and children

in schools) in order to encourage people to genuinely think

about the importance of acvely looking aer their health

and wellbeing in accordance to prophec guidance.

Join Us On A Journey To

JannahIt was related on the authority of Abu Hurairah, (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet,

Peace Be Upon Him Said;

Whosoever relieves from a believer some grief pertaining to this world, Allah will relieve from

him some grief pertaining to the Hereaer. Whosoever alleviates the diffi cules of a needy person

who cannot pay his debt, Allah will alleviate his diffi cules in both this world and the Hereaer.

Whosoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the

Hereaer. Allah will aid a servant (of His) so long as the servant aids his brother. Whosoever follows

a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.
