Note on Shadda: When the stroke is put above Shadda it is Fat’ha or Zabar. But if it comes below

shadda then it is Kasra or Zeir. So ذ is Zi, not Za!

Verses of the Qur’an.

The Messenger has believed in what

was revealed to him from his Lord,

and [so have] the believers. All of

them have believed in Allah and His

angels and His books and His

messengers, [saying], "We make no

distinction between any of His

messengers." And they say, "We

hear and we obey. [We seek] Your

forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is

the [final] destination."

Allah does not charge a soul except

[with that within] its capacity. It

will have [the consequence of] what

[good] it has gained, and it will bear

[the consequence of] what [evil] it

has earned. "Our Lord, do not

impose blame upon us if we have

forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and

lay not upon us a burden like that

which You laid upon those before

us. Our Lord, and burden us not

with that which we have no ability

to bear. And pardon us; and forgive

us; and have mercy upon us. You

are our protector, so give us victory

over the disbelieving people."

والمؤمنونهبرمنإليهأنزلباالرسولآمنقرنـفلورسلهوكتبهوملئكتهباللـهآمنكل عناوقالوا رسلهمنأحد بـي وأطعناس

﴾٢٨٥﴿المصيوإليكربـناغفرانك

مالا وسعهاإلنـفسااللـهيكلفلهاكسبت تـؤاخذنالربـنا اكتسبتماوعليـ

ناتملولربـنا أخطأناأونسيناإن إصراعليـولربـنا قـبلنامنالذينعلىحلتهكما

لناواغفرعناواعف بهلناطاقةلمالنامتالقومعلىفانصرنامولناأنت وارحنا

And strive for Allah with the

striving due to Him. He has chosen

you and has not placed upon you in

Allah named you "Muslims" before

[in former scriptures] and in this

[revelation] that the Messenger may

be a witness over you and you may

be witnesses over the people. So

establish prayer and give zakah and

hold fast to Allah. He is your

protector; and excellent is the

protector, and excellent is the

helper. 22: 78

ومااجتباكمهو جهادهحقاللـهفوجاهدواأبيكمملة حرج منالدينفعليكمجعل

وفقـبلمنالمسلميساكمهو إبـراهيموتكونواعليكمشهيداالرسولليكونهـذاالزكاةوآتواالصلةيموافأق الناسعلىشهداء

creations of God, he

will have no excuse

but to conclude that

the Qur’an is a True

desperate one when he calls upon

Him and removes evil and makes

adversity, there is no remover of it

except Him; and if He intends for

you good, then there is no repeller

of His bounty. He causes it to reach

whom He wills of His servants. And

He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

the night; and You bring the living

give provision to whom You will

Memorize this du’aa

لمانعلماأعطيتولفعذا معطيلمامنـعتوليـنـ

الدمنكالد“O Allah! None can

deny that which You

bestow and none can

bestow that which

You hold back; and

the greatness of the

great will be of no

avail to them against

You”.

This du’aa is

recommended after

every obligatory

Salah.

for yourself and your

education and warn

them of the

consequences of their

evil deeds.

Fire whose fuel is people and

angels, harsh and severe; they do

not disobey Allah in what He

commands them but do what they

Day 12

Ungratefulness leads

to poverty and fear.

Adopting shukr,

gratefulness, at all

times is the hallmark

of a Muslim’s

wisdom.

And Allah presents an example: a

city which was safe and secure, its

provision coming to it in abundance

from every location, but it denied

the favors of Allah. So Allah made

it taste the envelopment of hunger

and fear for what they had been

doing. 16: 112

أتيهايمطمئنةآمنةكانتقـريةمثلاللـهوضرباللـهبأنـعمفكفرتمكان لكمنرغدارزقـها

كانواباوالوفالوعلباساللـهفأذاقـها﴾١١٢﴿يصنـعون

None can avert

man’s adversities

except Allah

And it is He who feeds me and

forgive me my sin on the Day of

Recompense." (82)

[And he said], "My Lord, grant me

authority and join me with the

righteous. (83)

And grant me a reputation of honor

among later generations. (84)

And place me among the inheritors

of the Garden of Pleasure. (85)

knowing of who has strayed from

His way, and He is most knowing of

who is [rightly] guided. 16: 125

السنةوالموعظةبالكمةكبرسبيلإلدعاأعلمهوربكإن أحسنهيبالتوجادلم

presents an example, [making] a

good word like a good tree, whose

root is firmly fixed and its branches

[high] in the sky? It produces its fruit all the time, by

permission of its Lord. And Allah

presents examples for the people

that perhaps they will be reminded.

And the example of a bad word is

like a bad tree, uprooted from the

surface of the earth, not having any

stability.

Allah keeps firm those who believe,

with the firm word, in worldly life

and in the Hereafter. And Allah

sends astray the wrongdoers. And

Allah does what He wills. 14: 26,

مناجتثتخبيثة كشجرة خبيثة كلمة ومثلاللـهتبيـث﴾٢٦﴿قـرار منلاماالرضفـوق

نـياالياةفالثابتبالقولآمنواالذين وفالدمااللـهويـفعل الظالمياللـهويضل الخرة

Day 28

Allah is the Giver of

everything. And He

gives you!

His favours are

Infinite!

And He gave you from all you

asked of Him. And if you should

count the favor of Allah, you could

not enumerate them. Indeed,

mankind is [generally] most unjust

and ungrateful. 14: 34

Day 29

Glory and Praise belongs to Allah

alone. On Him we

trust, and unto Him

we return.

It is better to end our

du’aas with these

beautiful verses,

مناإنكأنتالسميعالعليمربـناتـقبل Our Lord! Accept this from us. You are All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

ناوتب إنكأنتالتـوابالرحيمعليـ Accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
