Our trip to the Manchester Christmas Markets was a great day out.

It was brilliant to meet so many of you and find out where you volunteer and what else you spend your credits on.

Council employees were invited to earn Time Credits by supporting the Community Development Team in running training sessions as part of the Chorley Couch to 5 K programme currently taking place

Spices health and social care programmes received recognition at the Third Sector Care Awards, winning the award for Contribution to Sector Development.

The current programme in Chorley continues to work with the groups and organisations who were part of the pioneering Uplift health and social care project which started in Chorley in 2012. The judges said Time Credits are inspiring a mind-set change about the contribution that service-users can or do make, acting as a whole-systems catalyst in shifting attitudes from a deficit to an asset-based approachOther news

All our groups are always looking for more help and even just one hour a week can make a huge difference

Roles are varied with groups needing help with event planning, admin, book-keeping or getting really involved supporting people of all ages and in all types of circumstances

Some groups are on the look out for looking for people who would like to take on the role of a trustee or to join them as a committee member Or you might have an idea about an activity, event or group you would like to set up and use Time Credits to help thank volunteers who get involved?
