How Will It Work?
• Event Themes Will Get Posted By October 31– Will include open call for keynote presentations– And open call for member presentations
• Each Month:– Pre meetup networking – 30 minutes– One keynote presentation based on theme - 30 minutes– Two member presentations - 5 minutes each– Post meetup networking – 45 minutes or until bar closes
• Both structured + unstructured formats– If we run an unmeeting, all the presentation topics will be posted
beforehand so people can think about what they’d like to hear
• Finally – we’ll round out meetup themes by:– adding links to presentations / videos from the event– and invite our members to add other links to ideas /
presentations that support the theme
Who’s Going To Do This?
Need Volunteers To Help Build Great Events– We already have great location scouts– We need four committees based on themes– This is not a lifelong commitment, but it is a serious
commitment for one year for the events you take on
Committees Will:– Plan event (we’ll provide event templates)– Source / finalize speakers– Ensure locations work for the event– Market event– Be responsible for all info in the linkedin meetup
space
