Co-operative Film Festival – Trip – Manchester With our Media teacher and other media students we went to a Co-operative film festival in Manchester where I learnt some valuable information some of which we could include into our music video and the planning or even just inspiration and creativity. We learnt how to make a wound which may not be relevant to our music video but I found really interesting as we used Derma Wax to create a mound of which we split and added wet and dry blood to make it look realistic. Here is an image of some of the tools that we used to create the wound. We also had a play with an I mac and animation where we used plaster scene and created a little person filming it move by move as a single frame and putting it all together and this made me realise how much time and effort goes into this process and that it wouldn’t be relevant for us but also it would be too complicated for us to do. Here is an image of Google as to what we used and the equipment of which we don’t have. We also watched a lot of films made by others from all over the country where I got a lot of inspiration and creativity ideas on what we could include although none shown were singer/songwriters the codes and conventions used and the use of links between the lyrics and visuals in some videos were really good, as well as the meaning of some of the videos.

Co-operative Film Festival – Trip – Manchester

With our Media teacher and other media students we went to a Co-operative film festival in Manchester where I learnt some valuable information some of which we could include into our music video and the planning or even just inspiration and creativity.
