1 General
Fujitsu’s Managed Mobile service manages customer's smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices, and the applications
and settings within them. The service ensures that users have consistent, reliable and secure access to enterprise data and
applications. It uses standardized services, management tools and methods to ensure corporate security and compliance
regardless of the user's location. Service components are applied to an applicable extent depending on the mobile
operating system functionalities.
During the enrolment, the device is pre-configured for corporate use using the predefined pre-installation package. A
typical setup includes the enforcement of organization’s security policies on the mobile device (e.g. device lock
code/passcode and requirement of complex passwords), installation of an anti-virus software and setting up corporate push
email account for the user.
This document explains the typical set up and enrolment process for devices with iOS operating system using mobile data
connection. The print screens illustrating the installation process are from iPhone with iOS 5.1.
If you have any questions about this service, or you need assistance during the set up process, please contact your Service
Desk.
2 Before set up
Make sure you have a working connection to the internet. You can try to browse the web with your mobile device to check
whether the web pages are available. If Internet connection is not available, please consult your network operator to get
the correct settings for your device.
3 Enrolment
If you have received an SMS that invites you to Managed Mobile service and asks you to download the client, please click
the link in the SMS and proceed to step 2 in this section. Note, that all devices, such as iPad, are not capable of receiving
SMS.
If you do not have the invitation SMS on your device, proceed to step 1 and type in the address directly in the mobile
device’s browser. It is recommended to use the default browser of the device (Safari on iOS devices).
1. Open your web browser on your mobile device. Type in the given address to the address and tap Go. The setup address is
typically https://mobility.edelkey.net/<instance_name>/setup, where <instance_name> is customer-specific. You can find the
setup address from a Welcome email sent to you earlier.

2. Welcome to the ZDM iOS Over-the-Air Enrollment portal is displayed. Tap ZDM root certificate link.
3. Install Profile / Fujitsu CA is displayed. Tap Install.

4. A Warning is displayed. Tap Install.
5. Install Profile /Fujitsu CA is displayed. A green “Verified” indicates a successful installation of certificates. Tap Done.
6. You will be routed back to Welcome to the ZDM… page. Tap Sign in link.

7. A login screen is displayed. Please type in your Username and Password. Tap Sign in.
8. Install Profile / Fujitsu Profile Serv… is displayed. Tap Install. A message tells that “…this profile will change settings on your
iPhone.” Tap Install Now.
9. A Warning is displayed. It says that “…this profile allows the administrator to remotely manage your iPhone”. Tap Install.

11. Profile Installed / MDM Configuration is displayed. Tap Done. In case you want to more details about the certificates, tap
More details. To return, tap Profile Installed.
You have now successfully enrolled your device to the to the Managed Mobile service. The next section describes the
pre-installation process of typical pre-installation package which follows after the MDM configuration/client has been
installed. Please note that the pre-installation package is customer specific and your Organization’s package and the
following process might differ from this example.
4 Pre-installation
1. To finish the push mail configuration, the device asks for the email password. When a Password Required message is
displayed, enter your domain password. Tap OK.

2. A Passcode Requirement message is displayed. Tap Continue, enter a new passcode (minimum 6 characters) and tap
Continue. You need to re-enter your passcode and tap Save.
The installation is now complete and initial synchronization of mails, calendar items and contacts begins.
5 ZDM Self Help Portal
Once you have enrolled your device you can use your workstation’s browser to manage your mobile device. Open you
workstation’s web browser and type in the self-service portal URL address given in the Welcome email. A login screen is
displayed.
Type in your Username and Password. Click Sign in.
ZDM Self Help Portal loads up. On the right top corner you can see that you are logged in. Press Sign out when you want to
leave the portal.
On the portal you can view your mobile device information. You can lock, wipe or locate your device.

Locking is an action that will send a lock command to the device.
Wiping is an action that will wipe all data stored on the device and restore the factory settings.
Locating is an action that will locate the device using GPS.
