Please welcome in prayers these newest members of the Catholic Church, Kenia Isabella Ramirez, daughter of Jesús & Alma, who was baptized on May 19th, 2018 and Bryce James Gerend, son of Jason & Nicole, who was baptized on May 20th, 2018.

Treasurer-Trustee Election

We did not receive any additional nominees for the Treasurer-Trustee Election. Therefore, Carolyn Green will run as an uncontested candidate. The election will be held the weekend of June 2nd & 3rd at all four Masses.

Memorial Day Mass

Monday, May 28th @ 9:00am

St. Clare, Wrightstown On this day, may we be ever mindful of the

sacrifices made by those in uniform for all our freedoms.

Congratulations to All Graduates, especially our St. Clare School Alumni: Taylor Guns, Logan Vander Linden, Casey Schumacher, Maggie McGregor, Hannah Clancy, Courtney Calmes, Ashlyn De Cleene, Kyle Cleven, Nick Diny, Parker Vande Hey, and Kailee Van Zeeland

A special congratulations to Kailee Van Zeeland who received a scholarship sponsored by the teachers of St. Clare School! Six alumni wrote essays about how they currently use the foundation they received by attending St. Clare Catholic School.

Some excerpts from the essays: “Having this Catholic education taught me that God is always in my life and all around me in many different ways. I learned those ”footprints of God” in my daily life, and then as my awareness of God developed, I also became an instrument of God’s grace in my family, community and in my world.”

“St. Clare Catholic School has built a very strong Catholic foundation for me. I am still able to turn to many of the friends I had there as well as hold onto those strong connections with them.”

“Attending Mass every Thursday as a school really benefited me and showed how important showing up for Mass every week is, and I was able to continue going every Sunday throughout high school.”

“My Catholic education has helped to instill in me values that have guided me through obstacles, big and small, that I en-counter in high school.”

Wisdom from a Wider World

“Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love.” – Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter.

honor the men and women who died while serving in the military.

We are thankful for the freedom we have! Thank you to Mrs. Healy for working with our students to prepare this wonderful patriotic concert.

The concert event included an art show. The students’ artwork is displayed throughout the school. There are many beautiful pieces. Thank you to the students and Mrs. Diny for working so hard on the artwork.
