This col lect ion, inspired by the phi losophy of the Scandinavian design master s of the 50ies, by far is composed of several armchair s. Each piece is sl ightly transformed compar ing to the or iginals with the different choice of mater ials and also with redesigning par ticular elements of the structure , regarding the forms, connections and leather detai ls .

Cees Braakman was one of the Dutch most inf luential designer s. Differently from the or iginal , the armchair on the photo above is entirely made of solid wood. Despite that, exceptional functionality and ergonomics are character istic for this piece . Apar t from European Walnut used for making the bottom piece , dark elm would fit it perfectly.

Armchair on the photo above is a ver y rare model . It is made of sol id wood, fur and sta inless steel shackle which holds the seater and the backrest . L ike for ever y Hans Wegner’s armchair, except ional ergonomics is character ist ic for this piece .

Børge Mogensen designed the Hunting Chair in 1950. The Hunting Chair ’s rounded armrests , seat , and back that ad just to the body ’s weight make i t a ver y comfor table cha ir. Despi te the f ront seat edge height of just 30 cm above the f loor, the armrests make the cha i r easy to get up f rom. The f r ame i s made of so l id wood, whi le the seat and back are o f th ick leather, w i th ad jus table s t r aps . Th i s r us t i c and mascu l ine combinat ion o f mater ia l s , which give a ver y specia l pat ina, was fur ther developed by Mogensen.

Uno & Östen Kr is t iansson were Swedish Inter ior and Furni ture des igner s . They most ly des igned L ight ing object , th is Hunt ing Chair was one of they r are furni ture projects . The fr ame is made of sol id wood, whi le the seat and back are of thick leather, with adjustable straps . The Hunting Chair ’s rounded armrests , seat , and back that adjust to the body’s weight make i t a ver y comfor table chair.
