    Glen's Thoughts

Last week I wrote about our goal to raise $2000 for the EasteSpecial offering. This, again, is going to go toward sending 1 of pallets of food to Haiti through Lifeline Christian Mission. I alspromised that this effort was only the first step.

The second step is going to involve Lifeline coming to the churc

with all of the food and supplies so that we can bag and box up thfood ourselves. This will be a huge effort and another great way tserve this worthy organization. They team up with many churcheand church camps to do this and we are privileged to take part in thias well. The date for this food-bagging effort is not set yet, but be onthe lookout for details. This will be an amazing service event thaanyone can take part of, and I promise you will be blessed through i

This service project cannot take place, though, unless we first fund through our Easter Special Offering. So I encourage you to faithfullconsider how much God has enabled you to give to feed hungrpeople in Haiti. For more information on all of this, look for bags ofood around the church from this week onward.

    A Note from brad.

Over the past few weeks, I have noticed some uncomfortable movement in the pews. Wehave been studying Proverbs six on the theme of The Things a Loving God Hates. Wehave dealt with pride and lying. This Sunday we will study Proverbs 6:18. Please pray thatGod will help you not to have a heart that devises wicked schemes and feet that are quickto rush to evil.

Over the past few months, if you have been attending our second service, you have noticedthat we have added some pre-worship videos and countdowns to prepare our hearts andminds for worship. In the near future we will make some additional modifications to makeour second worship a time of celebration. This celebration service may include some newermusic, DVD driven worship, other instrumentation, drama, interviews, video teaching,

etc.... Please be patient with us as this evolves. We are striving to give God our best and doall things with excellence. Worship is to be all about God, not us. Worship is not about yourpersonal preferences. So, regardless of the methods we use, the message will never

change. I thank God for all those who are involved in our worship preparation and I lookforward to seeing how he may use some of you to better enhance what we are seeking toaccomplish. Please pray that through all our efforts, God will be praised!

Today I want to share briefly on this verse: Psalm 30:11 says You turned my wailinginto dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy . What a greatdescription of what God has done for you and me. He has given me a reason to dance andto shout for joy. David had often been near death, but God brought him through. Just

what has God brought you through? Cancer, Diabetes, Heart failure, divorce, brokenhome, abuse, loss of work, bad relationships, etc. You see, God is good! He deserves

our praise. He needs to know you are thankful for saving you from what the world hasthrown at you. Come celebrate the Lord and sing to him a new song.

I hope you have a great week.

    Cya Sunday,

    Brad Seevers, Eph. 3:20-21
