GOOD NEWS CLUB Just a reminder that next weeks meeting for the Good News Club will be it’s last meeting for this school year. They will pick up again next fall.

GRASP SUMMER SCHOOL

(Grand Rapids Academic Summer Programs) Are you looking for a summer school opportunity for your child? GRASP is an academic correspondence program in reading and mathematics for grades K-8. It

is a cost-efficient substitute for traditional summer school. The program helps students retain skills learned during the school year. We are offering this program to Beagle students. Over the summer, your child completes materials and sends them in for scoring. The lessons should take your child approximately one hour per week to complete each weekly lesson.

Ø Look for order forms in your student’s Friday folder. Ø Return forms and fees by April 12, 2013 Ø All materials will be sent home with the child the last

week of school.

CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS

Campbell soup labels are another way to help out your student’s school. Soup labels have a point system and those points can be turned in for art, sports or academic

materials. You can find them on other products beside soup cans!!

RELAY FOR LIFE UPDATES

T-Shirt orders need to be turned in by Monday, March 25th. Please make check or money orders out to “Johnny Mac Sporting Goods”.

“FEET” are available for $1 each. See Mrs. Haskell if you are interested in purchasing one. You can find her in the cafeteria during lunch hours.

Friday, April 19th – There will be a 24- minute “mini” relay for life walk for all students. Students donating $5 will receive a slap bracelet, a $10 donation earns them a Relay for Life pencil box and a $20 donation earns them a Relay for Life T-Shirt.

A Garage sale date for Relay for Life has been set for Saturday, April 20th. Watch the newsletter for more information as to where the garage sale will be located as well as WHEN and WHERE you can drop donated items off at. All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life!!
