Military Career

• September 1962 start of education to armored corps commander (too small and by one year too old to become a military pilot)

• August 1965 officer as second lieutenant

First Marriage

• March 1965: adventure matrimony

• March 1971: divorce (also due to my profession)

As first lieutenant youth officer of a tank regiment near to Stettin in Poland, deployed especially in situations of catastrophes

Where does ur route go to?

My children out of my first marriage: Ines, Torsten and Kerstin

Second Marriage

• March 1973 Erika and myself dared to marry (lasting 38 years now!)

• We stay at Torgelow / Spechtberg

• Erika becomes head of our troop library

With part of our family at a cozy picnic

1973 Ulrike and 1977 Susanne are born

1998 Our Silver Marriage

• 1977 Erika is skilled in librarianship

• I am Mayor• After 4 years further

education I become Lieutenant-Colonel and Chief Officer for Culture

• 1991 after the political change I start education as businessman for office communication

2001 Marriage of our youngest daughter Susanne

2008 our daughter Ulrike is marrying
