Definition: Established to recognize and encourage innovation in the ongoing active management and optimization of document output devices and related business processes. This award highlights creative companies, projects or individuals that demonstrate originality and excellence in their contribution to the field.

Submission Process:

1. Complete this form to explain why you should be an award winner.

2. Save the file using your company name and category as the file name.

3. Email to MPSAawardsubmissions@yourmpsa.org.

Timeline:

Within 2 weeks of submission: A member of the Judging Panel will follow up with you.

Judging Panel will choose Category award winners in early July.

The winner within each Category will be announced at the CompTIA ChannelCon Event in Orlando, FL, July 29-31, 2013.

Section 1: Originality – 30%

1. List the scope and depth of your innovative MPS offering.

2. Explain why your innovation is ground breaking, ahead of its time and/or superior to market alternatives. What makes your solution stand apart from the standard?

3. Describe any processes, technologies, marketing or sales concepts that help differentiate your innovation.

4. Has your innovation been patented?

Section 2: Impact – 25%

1. Summarize the fundamental change in process.

2. Summarize the impact to the MPS community and how it benefits customers.

Section 3: Practicality – 15%

1. Summarize how readily your innovation can be integrated into existing systems.

2. Summarize the costs associated with the innovation.

Section 4: Measurability – 15%

1. Summarize the metrics established to measure growth, efficiencies or cost savings to improve your customers’ business.

2. Describe the review process used to ensure the objectives for your customers’ managed print services are being met.

Note: The MPSA will hold in strictest confidence any areas of your submission that you designate to contain trade secrets or information proprietary to your organization.

Section 5: Case Study – 15%

1. Provide a specific case study example from 2012 or 2013 that illustrates the benefits of utilizing your solutions.

Section 6: Case Study Feedback

Please provide a contact within the end-user case study that will be available for a brief interview with a member of the MPSA Judging Panel. Interview will be specific to case study feedback, and overall satisfaction with your managed print services.
