Since 1982, under the direction of Mr Michael Makrylos, the Makrylos Group of Companies has become one of the Northern Territory’s largest privately owned builders and property developers of award winning high quality apartments and ultimate lifestyle residential communities.

The Makrylos Group has designed and constructed in excess of 600 units within the Darwin region, worth in excess of $400M.

For the past 26 years Michael Makrylos has been developing primarily high-rise residential properties and land developments.

In 1992, with the beautiful Casuarina Coastal Reserve providing a perfect backdrop, the Makrylos Group developed a significant residential subdivision in the northern suburb of Tiwi, called Brinkin Forest Estate. The development is ideally situated near the Casuarina foreshore, major shopping centre and the public and private hospitals.

Aspect Residence - 3 Warrego Court, Larrakeyah

The HIA award winning Aspect project was completed by the Makrylos Group in 2006. This development epitomised the reinvention of luxurious golf-front living, in a location that is the ultimate in privacy and convenience.

LaGrande Residence - 8 Knuckey St, Darwin City

The historic landmark LaGrande Residence site was purchased in 1995 and the project launched in June 1996.

The quality and imagination of this signature building, both inside and out has substantially raised the bar with respect to residential design in Darwin.

The construction of LaGrande Residence, is testimony to the Makrylos’s Group extensive expertise and proven track record and fitting recognition of their long-standing dedication and passion to the revival of Darwin’s inner city.

The Makrylos Group has also designed and constructed many individual residential unit developments along Casuarina Drive, Northlakes, Nightcliff and Karama.
