Many of the recyclers of used oil have reported that lot of used oil is going to unauthorized agenciesfor processing / use. If some organizations like M/s. Vaparlele Oil Vechak Kastkari Panchyat,Pune , Plot no: 89, New Timber Market, Bhavani Peth, Pune-411002 , collects the used oil fromsmall generators and channelizes it to the registered recyclers it will help to reduce flow ofused oil to unauthorized recyclers /users.

It is therefore desirable that this agency - M/s. Vaparlele Oil Vechak Kastkari Panchyat, Puneis authorized to collect the used oil and they are asked to maintain record of all used oilcollected and sale to registered recyclers .

The procedure for collection, transport, storage and transfer it to the registered recyclers shouldbe as per the Hazardous Waste (MH&TM) Rules, 2008.
