Recognition makes accomplishments even sweeter. The 5 th year of M.A.P.S participation in the International Science & Engineering Fair has transcended the geographical and political boundaries, metamorphosing our students into global ambassadors acquiring knowledge, social skills and skills of life. MAPS students once again proved their mettle by putting up an excellent performance at Pittsburg USA and bagged the IV Grand Award. Trailblazing is a tradition in MAPS and the fruits of our labor are reflected in topnotch academic in CBSE. None of these achievements would have been within the realms of possibility without the unswerving and uncompromising commitment and care of the faculty. We are also constantly encouraged by the parents who espouse our cause as their own. As it is the time to celebrate the past glorious achievements, it is also time to strengthen values. It is our strong set of values which harness high standards and positive ethos for learning. Self-Awareness Day-To give students a clear perception of their personality including strengths, weaknesses, thoughts and beliefs, Self Awareness Day was observed in the school on 7 th April. Olympiad Champs –To motivate students to strive for better and deeper understanding and to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills , Olympiad 2015 was held on 25 th April . Building Positive Personality- A program for classes VI-VIII was conducted by Raj Yoga…. with a unique blend of sessions on self development and spiritual ba- sics for a happy, healthy and holistic life. PTA Elections -To facilitate parental participation in school affairs, PTA elections and the Induction Ceremony was held to harness the power of parent volunteers. Students’ Coordinators-To promote smooth functioning and in-keeping with the theme YOUTH EMPOWERMENT, various Student Committees have been formed with different sets of responsibilities. Let us be self inspired and keep working hard to keep the MAPS flag flying high.

With the blessings of the Lord and sincere efforts to turn dreams into reality M.A.P.S proudly celebrates the achievements of the session 2014-15 and unpretentiously aspires for more progress in the new session. Recognition makes accomplishments even sweeter. The 5th year of M.A.P.S participation in the International Science & Engineering Fair has transcended the geographical and political boundaries, metamorphosing our students into global ambassadors acquiring knowledge, social skills and skills of life. FOUNDATION DAY EXTRAVAGANZA10.04.2015

celebrated its

with a sacred start of the lighting of

the ceremonial lamp in the presence of

Sh. Pawan Gupta (President,AWS),

Sh. Anil Gupta (Secretary,AWS) and

other elite Management members. The

onset of the 38th year of the school com-

menced with the inauguration of the

MAPS Mobile App, developed by the

school, followed by a scintillating

cultural show.

The tiny tots of Nursery Wing left

everyone spellbound with their street

play on . It was

followed by a mesmerizing confluence of

classical and western dance by senior

students. Taking creativity to a new

high, the primary and Senior students

presented a scintillating dance

representing Fraternity, Equality,

Justice and Liberty, the four emblem of

the Preamble.

The academic achievers from

Class I to XII who secured top ranks in

the session 2014-15 were recognized and

awarded. The atmosphere was further

enriched by the wise words of The

President Sir who motivated the stu-

dents to follow a life of ethics.

Students polished their shoes in the

school. It did not only bring a shine

on their school shoes but also on

their faces that brightened with a

glow of confidence, pride and self-

satisfaction. This year "YOUTH EMPOWERMENT “ is the central

theme of the school. Keeping this in mind MAPS i wing

started their celebration a day prior. The festivities began

with the decoration of the bulletin boards in the

corridors. Students exhibited their creative talent by

painting their world. The quick snap shot of the same is

here.

Volunteer ‘MOM’

With an objective to inculcate Scientific A wa rene ss & Scientific Temper, to support curriculum based education, en-courage inquisitive minds to inculcate innovative ideas a n d s t r e s s o n "Learning To Do", "Learn Through Fun", a visit to the Na- tional Science Centre was organized. Students enjoyed collecting information to complete the Task specific Fun Sheets and returned inspired to create their very own working models. This visit ignited the spark for TOD FOD JOD.

: Children from grade 1 to grade 8 got an opportunity to bring forth their latent talent. Students entertained the audience with poems, stories, songs, tricks etc. A collaborative session with Moms was also conducted where they shared their real life experiences with the kids.

at the DLDAV SCHOOL, Pitampura.
