The active learner will benefit from an increased access to technology, well defined display areas, product storage, open shelving, logical cabinetry and a shared conference learning space. As a modern collaborative space, the new resource library is the best exposure to a professional real- life design studio. Design Goal: Utilizing dynamic environments and smart + connectivity, the classroom of tomorrow aims to provide a creative and innovative space for an improved student experience. o Versatile storage and organizational optionsCombining different sizes of drawers, cabinets and cubbies allows for different materials to be stored appropriately and maintain order.

o Collaborative workspaces Utilizing large tables, integrated with technology, encourages individuals and groups to share ideas and discuss projects.

o Minimal aesthetic Incorporating whites, black, wood tones and pops of blue allow the eye to focus on the materials selected rather than conflict with the surfaces they are arranged on.

o Universal designThe design focuses on accessibility, allows for wheelchair space and traffic flow.

o Designated space for students to order samples Developing a nook where students have quick access to place orders for samples, encourages productivity and real-world experience.RESOURCE ROOM FLOOR PLAN
