It’s Time for Action.

For Board of Governors

It’s time to help students get jobs.

Students are having a tough time getting work right now. We all know that. But we’re also not using our board of governors the way we should be. We need to harness the business connections of the BoG to create new opportunities for graduating students.

That means asking our board members to help create internships and job shadowing programs both at their companies and companies they and Carleton alumni are connected to. We need a Carleton advantage.

A work bridging program will:- Harness the business networking of the BoG- Focus on internship creation for Carleton students- Give students a chance to meet their BoG- Create a website and well advertise the programs that are created- Be focused on creating job opportunities

It’s Time for more power:We need more plugs.

We’ve all been in those classrooms that don’t have enough outlets - it’s a pain. And with everyone taking notes on their laptops it’s not something we should have to deal with anymore.

That’s why we need to allocate University money to refurbish classrooms that don’t have enough outlets. And in the meantime? Let’s buy powerbars for a quick fix. We need to power up and be ready to go.

It’s time to get our Grades - Faster.

We need to get our marks processed faster. That means setting deadlines for Professors on how long they have to report grades. We need time to appeal grades that are unfair and need to know our academic standing.

It’s Time for Homecoming.

I want to make sure we have the best homecoming ever.

From a Tailgate party to BBQs to an Old Crows Alumni Football Game, I’ll push for memorable programming and work with CUSA & RRRA.

The University sets the framework, so we need to ge it right the first time, so that we can leave behind a legacy we can be proud of.

We need fun events that all of us can really participate in.
