grades education. Our education program, developed just a few years ago, is already known throughout Georgia as one of the best in the state. Macon State is recognized for the teaching talent it produces for schools in the region and beyond.

Because our programs offer dual certification in early childhood/special education or middle school grades/special education, our graduates leave Macon State knowing how to customize teaching methods for students with a variety of learning abilities. We also offer paths to high school teaching careers with education tracks in our 4-year Biology, English, History, and Math degrees.

services of Macon State College to Houston County and surrounding communities. About 2,000 students appreciate the convenience of the 72-acre campus, located just a half-mile from Robins Air Force Base.

The Warner Robins Campus is comprised of modern classrooms in three academic buildings, a bookstore, an academic resource center, and student lounges. Our students also have complete access to the public library next door to the campus.

our tuition is affordable. In fact, earning your bachelor’s degree at Macon State costs less than you might think, even for students paying their own way with no financial aid of any kind. But don’t assume you can’t get any financial aid. Our Financial Aid staff is committed to helping qualified students find scholarships and grants including:

Take These Steps to apply1. Complete the Macon State College admissions application online

at www.maconstate.edu/admissions.

2. An application fee of $20 (non-refundable) is required.

3. Ask your high school counselor to send your official high school transcript directly to the Admissions Office.

4. Have your official test scores sent directly to the Admissions Office.

5. Provide additional documentation, as requested by the Admissions Office, to: Macon State College, Office of Admissions, 100 College Station Drive, Macon, GA 31206-5145.

6. If you are required to live on campus (see Freshman Residency Requirement below), complete the Residence Life Application at: www.maconstate.edu/residencelife/ApplicationProcess/default.aspx Submit the completed application with your Application Fee of $50 and Deposit Payment of $250 to the Office of Residence Life, 100 College Station Drive, Macon, GA 31206-5145.

Freshman residency requirementMacon State believes that living on campus provides a

superb environment for students to thrive in college. Our requirement that traditional students in their freshman year live in our on-campus housing communities reflects our commitment to student safety and wellbeing and our expectation that campus housing provides educational benefits in community living, small-group relationships, and meaningful connections to faculty, staff, and fellow students.
