Brand

Our StoryMjus is an Italian brand, with an international team consisting of many nationalities. It stands

for challenging fashion shoe collections, distinguished by the use of high quality materials.

The collections are casual yet feminine. Mjus wants to depict self-confident, elegant women.

It aims for a strong natural look with a little edge, like its shoes. Mjus is not interested in the

glitter and glamour, that’s not what it stands for. Mjus is wild, natural and elegant.

Under the supervision of Dutch designer Marc Teunissen, Mjus has evolved from a small

brand into a global player with a strong identity. Marc comes from a family of shoemakers

that goes back three generations. His knowledge and passion were inherited from his

father and his father’s father. Marc made his first collection at the age of 18, and he has not

stopped since.

Mjus was founded by the Olip company, owned by Piero Oliosi and now supported by his son Cristian and daughter Camilla. The company has its roots in the small town of Colà di Lazise, in the north of Italy.Piero Oliosi founded the Olip factory in 1972, where he started manufacturing shoes for other shoe brands. In his early years, Piero became well-known for his reliable business, always delivering the quality his clients needed.

His company mastered the skills of processing authentic materials, fabrics and leather, gaining a reputation as expert craftsmen.

Working for his clients, Piero understood the potential of building a solid brand and felt a strong urge to be independent. When the opportunity arose, he took his chance and created his first brand in 1980. His second brand was launched in 2007. That brand was Mjus. Today, Olip employs over 1200 people, has moved to a bigger location and opened a second factory in Bosnia.

Producing over 6,000 shoes per day, the company remains true to its core values, producing high-quality authentic Italian shoes using only the best local materials and trusting in years of experience in expert craftsmanship.
