the artwork of LA artist and EJH Founder Elana Joelle

Elana Joelle Hendler is a Los Angeles wildlife artist and millennial entrepreneur. Born and raised in Southern California, Elana grew up in a dynamic cultural envir-onment and was exposed to design andarchitecture early on.architecture early on.

Her grandfather was a Russian engineer who immigrated to Mexico before World War II and later collaborated with famed architect Lloyd Wright to build his home in Beverly Hills. Her grandmother was anaccomplished concert pianist, instilling a love for music and world culture. love for music and world culture.

Trips to museums, theater, concerts and zoos were a major influence in her youth and her parents nurtured creativity from a very early age. Her family heritage deeplyrooted in the arts set the stage for the inq-uisitive and passionate world view she holds today.holds today. ARTIST

Drawing since she was in elementary school, Elana had an early fascination for line work and was heavily influenced by animation. Doodles in notebooks accom-panied the bulk of her education throughcollege, and her medium was always just a college, and her medium was always just a regular ball point pen.

After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in Art History, Elana spent a year in culinary classes and exploring her passion for writ-classes and exploring her passion for writ-ing as a blogger before making the life changing decision to go out on her own.

She wanted to challenge herself to create acareer in which she could pull together allher respective interests and use her art-work as the foundation for a lifestyle brand.
