About the TU Dublin B.Sc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management (DT358)

The B.Sc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a business degree with a major specialisation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. During the programme students develop an ability to apply supply chain management and business processes and functions to actual Logistics and Supply Chain Management scenarios. They immerse themselves in the basic concepts and functional areas of supply chain management and to place these in the overall context of the strategy objectives of the organisation. The programme allows the student to develop a high level of technical competence and skill in the logistics, information technology and management including:

• Customer focused: Put customers first and demonstrate a commitment to service leading to satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

• Planning & organisation: Effectively plan what is to be achieved and properly coordinate and involve all relevant stakeholders.

• Problem solving: Ability to evaluate a problematic situation and resolve it based on planning and reasoning.

• Conflict management: Manage conflict in a way which is sensible, fair and efficient.
