One-point Perspective, Graphics for Interiors, Teacher: Bill Beitz, Spring 2006
This was part of a floorplan that we later turned into a one-point perspective as you see here. As an interior design major, we were taught to draft in both graphite and ink. This is an ink drawing with graphite detailing of the living room. This was the very first perspective drawing I had ever done and the first try at designing anything.

The 2008 Oklahoma Egg, First Lady White House State Easter Egg Display, American Egg Board, Oklahoma Egg Board Director: Joe Berry, March 2008
Although the Centennial was in 2007, I was asked by the Head of the Oklahoma Egg Board in November of 2007 to paint something on the Egg with the centennial in mind. Started off with a birthday cake idea, but then later transformed into this.

The Fandango Ballroom, Sweet Charity, Oklahoma State University, Director: Peter Westerhoff Designer: Carol Cooley, Position: Assistant Designer, Prop Designer, Painter, Electrician, Construction, Spring 2008
I designed the Fandango Ballroom. Specifically to the sign, I designed the layout of where it was placed (originally a cut out sign), where the support beams needed to be, welded the frame, covered it with luan, and painted it. I also draped the fringe swags and picked the color scheme of the Fandango Ballroom.

Photos of the lit Fandango Ballroom Sign. Lighting Designed by Heidi Hoffer. Since I designed the sign, I also was in charge of how the lights were placed and cabled (every other light on a different strand in case one went out), drilling and placing every light in the sign.

I painted and designed the Coney Island Sign. The postcard example (Bottom Left) is the inspiration for the sign. This sign like the Fandango also was supposed to be a cut-out sign.

This is an example of the prop sheet I created when I started my position at Oklahoma State as the Props Master. This form is filled out while the script is being read and then sent to the designer and director for any corrections before printing and sending the final to the Stage Manager.
This makes props meetings with Stage Manager, Director, and Designers smoother and more efficient when questions come up about what prop is needed and at what point. Each column helps for describing exactly what the prop is, why its needed, who has it, how many, and where can it be found both in build and on stage.
