What is Fabulous@50? •  Dianna Bowes started Fabulous@50 to ignite the spirit of

middle-aged women to live their lives to the fullest. •  Fab@50 is an organization that empowers, educates, and

inspires the baby boomer women through: –  Monthly events (workshops and social groups) –  E-Newsletters –  Trade Shows –  An online community

•  The Fabulous@50 Experience is a chance for the average women to share a martini or a coffee with friends, support local businesses and women’s charities, and grow personally and expand their circle of friends.


What is Licensing? •  A licensing agreement can be used when us

(the licensor) grant certain legal rights to another business (you the licensee) to use their intellectual property (IP) under license.

•  This allows you the (licensee) to sell products �and services based on it. In return, you pay a startup fee plus monthly fee based on area and population.

•  Intellectual Property (IP) is a juridical concept concept which refers to the creations of the mind for which exclusive rights are recognized.


You! As an Ideal Candidate •  Fabulous@50 is expanding and we are looking for enthusiastic

energetic and well-connected women 40+ to run Fabulous@50 events in their communities!

•  Ideal candidates for licensees are: –  Well-connected in their communities –  Have outgoing personalities –  An entrepreneurial spirit –  Passionate about supporting and connecting women –  Open-minded and positive –  Willing to learn new skills

•  If you are passionate about Fabulous@50’s mission to inspire, educate, and empower 40 plus women, you are just the person we are looking for to become one of our directors.


What Comes with the License? •  The beauty of purchasing the Fabulous@50 license is the benefits

you receive because of our 5 years of experience and pre-established reputation.

•  All you have to do is re-create it in your own community •  What your license includes:

–  The right to run events under the name of Fab@50 –  Materials such as templates, tools, and training videos –  Access to the Fab@50 website to promote your events –  Several “How To” tools including “How to get sponsorship,”

“How to run a trade show from start to finish,” “How to attract the best exhibitors,” etc.

–  Business tools – how to practice management –  Use of Fabulous@50 Intellectual Property – ideas, branding,

logos… –  Start-up training sessions on use of our tools


Pricing •  The Fabulous@50 business model could work in any market,

from a small town to a large city, as long as you have women and businesses in your community.

•  Licensing fees will be determined by the population in your community.

•  Our community directors can make money by: –  Running monthly personal development events –  Advertising income from www.fabulousat50.com –  Tradeshows –  Memberships

•  Termination of license can be made with 60 days written notice. •  We can and will pull your license if you are not using the

Fabulous@50 Intellectual Property with integrity.

Frequently Asked Questions •  How much time do I have to put into the license?

–  This is the beauty of licensing with Fabulous@50, you get to design your life, hours and do something you are passionate about. The first year will be a bigger time commitment because you need to build your database, start your social group and begin the planning of your first event.

•  Will there be other Fabulous@50 licensee’s in my community? –  No, you would have exclusivity to your area. If you think you want to

expand, it is best to buy the rights to all the surrounding areas in the beginning to hold the area for future growth.

•  What if I decide I want to do a trade show in another town/city ? –  You would have to buy the license for that area. It is against the

licensing contract to move into another town or city without expanding your license.
